The Harborage Club

The Harborage Club was planned to be the largest marina dockominium project in the country, located just minutes from the Port Everglades Inlet. Offering unprecedented technology and a yacht club lifestyle, this multistory building will change the dynamics of marina operation in South Florida. A state-of-the-art lift system and hurricane-resistant construction offer unsurpassed protection and care for members’ boats.

Unique Marketing Challenges

Even with an ever-dwindling supply of boat slips, the benefits of owning a dry-stack marina dockominium are still somewhat unknown to the marine marketplace. The initial challenge was to educate the end user on the safety and value of the technology, the scarcity of nearby boat slips, and the level of service available at The Harborage Club. A further challenge was distancing The Harborage Club from its predecessor, a failed dockominium project that did not meet expectations. Lastly, the developer wanted all marketing materials produced by Cotton in time for use at an upcoming boat show—a deadline that was approaching very quickly.
